She was born on July 8th 1943 to Clinton and Marcella Pearson in Houston, Texas. After graduation from East High School in Memphis, Tennessee, she went onto study at Baylor University.
After graduating with a degree in Education she married David Farr and began teaching 7th grade History in Dallas, Texas.
Sandra raised two children in Lake Highlands before starting her second career in advertising with Brierley and Partners.
In 2008, she retired and spent her time cooking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Sandra is survived by her sister, Susan Brubaker; son and daughter in law, Jess and Kacy Farr; daughter and son in law, Laura and Chris Leavell; grandsons Pearce and Donny Leavell; Nephews, Chris Brubaker and J.K. Farr; and Niece Aimee Farr.
In loving memory of Sandra Farr, a memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 10th at 2 PM at the Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel on W Northwest Highway in Dallas, which will be livestreamed at https://vimeo.com/event/3943870 A reception will follow at the same location.
