Sarah Frances Matthews was born September 16, 1925 in Dallas, TX to Henry Lee & Annie Mabel Bourland and passed away September 11, 2012, in Dallas, TX. Sarah graduated from Forest Avenue High School in 1943 and traveled extensively throughout her life. She is preceded in death by husband, I.E. 'Matt' Matthews; son, Richard and brother, Jackie Dean Bourland. Sarah is survived by her children: Michael, Gary & Ted Matthews; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and brothers: Glenn, Walter and Danny Bourland. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
