Sarah Juanette Lindsey Sexton was born March 16, 1926, and died February 2, 2013 at her home under the care of hospice, her son Doug and her daughter Lynda. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Clarence Vernon Sexton, by her parents and by six of her nine siblings. She is survived by her sons Wayne Sexton and Doug Sexton, her daughter and son-in-law Lynda and Jerry Beckett, her granddaughters Kristi Sexton and Tracey Beckett, two brothers and a sister James Boyd Lindsey, Walter Lindsey and Monica Kimzey, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sarah was a loving mom and wife, and a long-time member of Bethany Baptist Church. She served the Lord faithfully through her love of playing the piano. She was friendly, feisty and full of life. She will be remembered affectionately for her love of music, family and friends, hot coffee, and the Lord. Visitation is 6-8p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Bethany Baptist Church, 7300 Bruton Rd., Dallas, TX 75217. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas.
