Sawyer Vallie Reed

Born an uncontainable spirit, Sawyer’s infectious smile, charming spirit and genuine warmth lives on with all who knew him. An oldest son, he was a best friend to his brother Tucker, and a caring protector of his sister Harper.

Sawyer was born on June 30, 1994, in Dallas. He graduated from John Paul II High School in 2012. He was a senior at LSU and proud member of Sigma Chi fraternity.

Sawyer is survived by: his parents Mike and Kristin Reed; brother Tucker and sister Harper; and family dogs Sugar and Cookie, of Dallas. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Junavon Kinzy of Oklahoma City and Betty Reed of Beaumont, Texas; aunts and uncles Kyla and David Mach of Edmond, Oklahoma; Karen and Nick Palumbo of Oklahoma City; Ken and Myra Reed, Jim and Sue Reed and Janet Reed of Dallas; Vickie and Marty Evans of, Lufkin, Texas; Steve and Mory Andres of Beaumont, Texas; James and Emily Andres of Austin, and many cousins and loving friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Sawyer at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8017 Preston Road in Dallas on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 10 a.m. Celebrated by Rev. Anthony Bigney, O.Cist., and assisted by Deacon Ken Reisor.
