She was born March 11,1951 in Houston, Texas to her loving parents - mother, Vera Land and stepfather, Paul Sherley.
She was an American Airline Flight attendant for 29 years. In her spare time, Susan enjoyed spending time with family, friends, going out to the movies, restaurants, concerts, casinos, watching sports, reality shows, and traveling.
She is preceded in death by father, Paul Sherley; mother, Vera Lane; brother, Tommy Rochelle and sister-in-law, Betty Rochelle; along with nephews, Keith and Mike Rochelle.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Black and three sons, Michael, Marcus and Mason. Beloved Grandma/GiGi to seven grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Jacob, Seth, Mia, Corbin and Gage and four great-grandchildren, Kenzi, Madison, Delilah and Isabella.
A Memorial Service for Susan will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247.
