

A native of Dallas, Susan grew up in Evansville, IN, and received her BA from Texas Christian University in 1969.
At TCU, Susan pledged Kappa Alpha Theta and was an active alumna, receiving her Golden Pansy in 2016.
After college, Susan returned to Dallas and spent a decades-long career as a certified travel agent. She was fluent in Italian, Spanish and French.
Her many travels inspired her love for art, and Susan was a docent for more than 25 years at the Dallas Museum of Art. She was president of the DMA League from 2005–2006.
A lifelong Episcopalian, Susan was a parishioner of Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, where she was married in 1975.
The daughter of Daniel Milton Hare, M.D., and Miriam Atkins Hare, both deceased, Susan is survived by her beloved husband, William Arthur Tribble; her children, Philip Arthur Tribble, William Edward Tribble (Erica), and Miriam Mayfield Tribble; and three grandchildren, as well as her brothers John William Hare, M.D., and Philip Morgan Hare.
A memorial service for Susan will be held in the chapel at Saint Michael and All Angels, 8011 Douglas Avenue, on Saturday, December 11, at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to SMAA or the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas.
