Sylvano “Mingo” Figueroa, born on February 20th, 1938 in Dallas, Texas to Amador Figueroa and Gabriella Figueroa, passed away Dec 19, 2015. He worked for Otis Engineering for 25 years as a machinist. As a boy he grew up in Dallas then moved to Milwaukee, WI, eventually returning to Dallas to raise his family. He was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan but also had a love for the Dallas Cowboys. He loved bowling, golfing and travelling the states. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Ann Figueroa. They had six children: son Sylvano Thomas Figueroa, son Jeffrey Michael Figueroa, daughter Diana Lynn Story and husband Dale Story, daughter Rosanne Marie Dwinnell and husband Steve Dwinnell, son John Andrew Figueroa and wife Kitman Figueroa, daughter Gloria Figueroa Rose and husband Michael Charles Rose, 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. He is preceded by 7 brothers and 1 sister. His memorial service will be held on January 9th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Gonzalez Funeral Home 3050 N. Stemmons Frwy Dallas, TX 75247.
