Timoteo Hernandez

A Visitation will be held on Monday August 30, 2021 from 11 am to 2 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 1 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday August 31, 2021 at 11 am at Calvary Hill Funeral Home North Chapel. Interment to follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery.

Timoteo was born August 22, 1927 to Tranquilino and Vicenta Hernandez in New Braunfels, Texas. He celebrated his birthday this year by entering eternal rest. Timoteo worked as an expert mason for many years designing stone and making it in his own shop for homes in the DFW metroplex. Timoteo enjoyed dancing, barbequing, playing poker, fishing, and most of all, spending time with his family. He also enjoyed an occasional drink of Jack & Coke. His grandchildren enjoyed trips to Lone Star Donuts, having Big Red floats, watching movies at the Jefferson Theater on Saturday nights, and camping with their abuelo Timo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Hernandez; daughter-in-law Minerva Hernandez; grandson, Victor Villarreal; and great-granddaughter Vida Villarreal.

Timoteo leaves behind to cherish his memories, daughters, Maria Villarreal and husband, Jose of Dallas, Irma Hernandez and husband, Hernan of Dallas, Sylvia Jaquez and husband, Hector of Dallas, Delfina Hernandez of Dallas, Gloria Hernandez and husband, Raul of Dallas, Cynthia Hernandez of Dallas; sons, Nick Hernandez and wife, Mary of Desoto, Timoteo Hernandez Jr. and wife, Esmeralda of Gun Barrel, Raymond Hernandez of Canton, Frank Hernandez and wife, Diana of Mesquite; 49 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
