Timothy Paul Reames

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann, the love of his life. He is survived by his three children- Tim Jr.(Lisy), Peter, & Jennifer(Mike), nine grandchildren- Ashley, Tim III, Joey, Chris, Lauren, Taylor, Abby, Megan, & Caity, and three great-grandchildren- Natalie, Madeline, & Benjamin.

Tim and Ann were married almost 65 years. Shortly after Tim graduated from Southern Methodist University’s Dedman Law School, the happy couple moved to California. Tim loved the weather in California and also made many life-long friends who became like family.

Tim joined the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. As Ann would say, he went and played soldier for a weekend every now and then. Later in his career, Tim became the general counsel for Mattel Toys. Tim was noted to say that his proudest moment as an attorney was becoming Barbie’s Lawyer!

Tim enjoyed the simple things in life…walking on the golf course, watching reruns of MASH, snacking on cheese and crackers, and a 5 o’clock gin and tonic.

Tim will be deeply missed and forever loved by all that knew him.
