
Timothy Traylor was born May 16, 1939 to the late Mr. Wade Traylor Sr. and Mrs. Willie Jenkins Traylor of Dubach, Louisiana. Tim accepted Christ at an early age at Providence Baptist Church. Tim graduated in 1957 from Homer High School in Homer, Louisiana. He united in holy matrimony to Bettie Ola Franklin on June 13, 1957, and to this union, two children were born. In the 1990’s, he united with Union Missionary Baptist Church, under pastorage of the late Rev. C.H. Dorsey and now under pastorage of the Rev. Charles Martin. Later in Life Tim remarried Sharon K. Young on December 21, 1979, and to this union one child was born. Tim was the proud owner of Traylor’s Construction Company for over 40 years. He learned his trade from Fox and Jacobs Home Builders on how to read blueprints and engineering structure for pouring concrete. He poured concrete for the foundations and circular driveways within Highland Park, University Park and far North Dallas big estates. In 1985 one of his luxury estates within Southwestern Blvd. made Home Builders of America Magazine as one of the best stylist homes in Texas, not bad for a country boy from Dubach, Louisiana. The Angel of silence called him to his resting place on September 29, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents: Wade and Willie Traylor, four brothers: Frank Traylor, Wade Traylor, Jr. Sebe Traylor and Robert Clyde Traylor, two sisters: LuVada Edgar and Mary Evans. He leaves to mourn his life with eternal love and treasured memories in the hearts and minds of his two daughters, Cynthia Lowery and Shuntay Traylor; one son, William Traylor all of Dallas, Texas; one granddaughter, Cynetra Lowery; two grandsons, Williams (Tiffany)Brooks-Traylor and Rufus Lowery Jr., all of Dallas, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Kennedi and Zoey Brooks-Traylor; six sisters, Beulah Wheatfall, Pearline Wilson, Shirley Thompson, Hazel (Joe) Coleman and a special sister that visit him on a regular basis Ruby Carroll all of Dallas, Texas, Lillie Owens of Bernice, Louisiana; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who are just like family.
