My sincere condolences to you Kira and your family.  I have nothing but fond memories of your mom.  When I first met your mom I thought, we are about to be two of coolest grandmother to these boys. I must admit I am not disappointed at all. She was instrumental in being a positive loving person for the boys. Treva is and will continue to be one of the best moms, wife and grandmother I had the pleasure of meeting. Treva was beautiful and caring and supportive to so many people. I’m in awe of her spirit. Blessing and may she rat knowing job well done.

To Mama Treva, my “home girl” and bonus mother, I wanna thank you for accepting me into your family and allowing me to make so many precious memories with you. I thank you for your unconditional love, funny text messages, and guidance through many of my hardships I faced in life. Your laugh was contagious and your attitude was fierce. You never bit your tongue whether we wanted to hear the truth or not. You guided us spiritually to becoming women of God, and you most definitely defined the role of a proverbs 31. You will forever be missed, however, I know your spirit is with the most high and he’s so lucky to have you back. No matter what Kira says, you will always be one of “the girls” in my book. I love you forever and I can’t wait to see your face again. Save me a first class seat to heaven, that will be our last vacation spot! 💕

You were one of my first mentors at CPS.  I will always remember your warmth, humor and dedication.  You came back and helped after retirement when we needed you the most!  You will never be forgotten.

Treva was the sweetest, nicest person you could ever meet.  Going through school we looked so much like sisters, we agreed to say we were cousins. As we got older, we became sisters in the Lord. Thank you Lord for a friendship that lasted a lifetime. May you rest in peace my dearest best friend.

Words cannot express what I feel. Treva and I were friends since 3rd grade (over 55 years). My heart hurts more than I can explain. Praying for her family, her mother, sister, husband, Kira and the boys. May she live in your hearts forever.

We will surely miss you Treva. I’m happy we had the opportunity to raise the kids together, they were so close. I will miss our hour long talks on the phone, your kindred spirit and loving heart ❤️

Treva was a dear spiritual friend whose presence touched many lives. I will always remember her gentle spirit, the grace with which she carried herself, and her loving heart. In Bible Study Fellowship, she embodied humility and faith—always open to serving, always ready to uplift others. She never met a stranger, welcoming everyone with warmth and kindness that made people feel seen and valued.

Her life was a beautiful reflection of God’s love. Treva truly was an extension of His grace here on Earth, and she will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know her.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, comfort you now and in the days to come. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
