

Victor Julio Corrales – (1927 – 2015) Born in Lima, Peru. One of 11 children, 9 of which were boys. He sought out new opportunities for himself and his wife by beginning a life in Dallas in 1958. He was a long-standing member of St. Monica Catholic Church, supporting both the school and church for over 50 years. Victor attended countless St. Monica events for family and friends including weddings, baptisms, confirmations, graduations, school programs, and 100’s of soccer, football, basketball, baseball, volleyball games either coaching or cheering for his children and grandchildren. He retired from Continental Airlines after 42 years of dedicated service and traveled to Peru often to enjoy his favorite Peruvian foods and music with family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife Lily Antonietta who celebrated 53 years of marriage together this year. His children and grandchildren: daughter Liliana and husband Scott, their daughters Rebecca and Christine; daughter Frances and husband Craig, their daughters Madeline and Meredith; daughter Jessica and husband Bob, their son Brandon and daughter Nicole; son Joe and wife Cathy, their son Jack, and daughters Olivia and Tess lovingly cherish his life and his dedication to them as his greatest gift. Setting an example to each of what it means to be faithful, hard-working, kind, fun-loving, and how to love selflessly always putting others first. He is also survived by his loving sister Angelica, and brothers Jesus, Rafael, Alberto, countless nieces and nephews and their families. In honor of his life, legacy and his commitment to the education of his children and grandchildren, memorials can be made to St. Monica School GAP Campaign.
Visitation from 4-8 P.M. and holy rosary at 6pm Thursday September 10, Calvary Hill Funeral Home 3235 Lombardy Lane Dallas, TX. Funeral Mass celebrated at 10:00am on Friday September 11, at St. Monica Catholic Church, 9933 Midway Rd. Dallas, TX. Reception to follow at St. Monica Family Center.
