Dear Family of Vince Aloi
I worked with Vince at Huey & Philp in the late 70's. It was my first full-time job out of high school so I was 18. Vince was like my father figure and much more than that, one of the best friends I ever had. I woke up today and thought about Vince and decided to Google him. I then saw the obituary. The pic you chose made me think it wasn't him at first & then I saw it was. I lost touch as I moved to Colorado in 1983. My husband passed away 30 days before Vince. I am so happy that Vince lived a long life. My condolences to all of you.

The Alois were the first neighbors I can remember; my father, Shelby Harbour, thought a lot of his family and kept in touch even after we moved to Ennis. My condolences on your loss.

Dear Cousins, I appreciated seeing the photos on this site, especially your dad in his youth, a remarkably handsome man.  No wonder he attracted the equally good-looking and vibrant woman your mom, Margaret, was.  My dad has told us many stories of their youth.  Their smiles show how much they loved life! We pray for peace and comfort for Sissy, Marie and the entire Aloi family now and as you say goodbye to your father. We remember him fondly and cherish the times spent with this wonderful family.

I will remember the man that taught me how to fish and be good at it, who (when the fish weren't biting) taught my wife the same. We will remember our weekends together at the cabin and one of his most favorite things to do, have breakfast on the porch in the morning while looking out at the lake. These were also the times when he best shared with us, his life memories and the love for his kids. We will miss dad and the opportunity of being together and doing this again.

Sweet cousins, Vincent was always the life of the party. My daddy loved spending time with him and Rosalie as they grew up together.  My heart goes out to you all.  Loved looking at the photo gallery. I cannot be at either of the services, but will be there in thought and prayer.  God Bless all of the Aloi and Duca families!

So sorry for the loss of your Dad. I know he is with your mom in heaven, but leaves an empty space in your heart. My sympathy to all of your family and those that loved him. He will live on in you now.

Uncle Vince, that's how I met him.  So many will mourn his passing.  He is much loved and honoured. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dearest Perry and Bill and families, I know your Papa's great spirit still lives on in you and in your hearts.  I am so glad you got to spend quality time together before Vince went on to finally join Margaret in Heaven.  There is great happiness to be found in that. I called him Uncle, he called me Niece. He was my godfather and I loved him dearly.  He will always have a special place in my heart.

I had the great honor of calling this man my "UNCLE". At holiday parties he was always the first one to arrive at my house , so excited that we were all together. Long before the party was over he would be the first to leave.
"Where you going Uncle"? and he would reply, " I'm going down the street, I will see you later" and he was gone.  Uncle never did the 2 hour Italian 
good bye. Monday morning Uncle said his last good bye. I will miss him but I know I will see him later.  Love, "The Favorite Niece"
