Vivian Josephine Ingram Shanahan celebrated her 93rd birthday on July 21 of this year. All five of her children and their spouses, and the herd of her grandchildren and great grandchildren were able to wish her Happy Birthday in person or by video! The smile on her face revealed the joy in her heart.
And it was that sparkling smile that Vivian - also called Vivi Jo or Viv - loved to share with everyone. She especially enjoyed making others smile, like her fellow residents at Evergreen Apartments in Lewisville. Her most enjoyable activity there was joining her friends around a game table every single evening, sharing jokes, and pocketing pennies in her favorite game Tripoley!
But just 16 days after her birthday, on August 6, 2021, Vivian passed away. She leaves behind three brothers: Robert Ingram of Virginia, Forest Ingram of Illinois, and David Ingram of Texas, the last of seven original siblings. She also leaves behind her children: Sharan Neerman of Oklahoma, Timothy Shanahan, Michael Shanahan, Aileen Foley, and Patrick Shanahan, all of Texas, eleven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
We miss her so much, but are overjoyed that she is now In the arms of Jesus her Savior and smiling for eternity!
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.calvaryhilldallas.com for the Shanahan family.
