He attended St James Catholic School until the age of 16. When he decided he was of age, he got a job at the largest store in Alexandria. At the age of 0f 18, he caught a train and relocated to Chicago, Ill. William lived in Chicago while working at the Chicago Bulk Center. After 40 years of continuous service, he retired from the Chicago Bulk Center.
He passed away on August 18, 2018, and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, mother, father, and a host of relatives.
He leaves behind his only sister, Alma Kerl; nieces Karolyn Blue, Jody Kerl; and a host of nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
