William Joseph (Bill) Hunt was born July 17, 1927 in Okema OK. He went to be with the Lord on Sept. 24, 2012. Bill graduated from Baylor University in 1950. He served in the Navy as Yoeman First Class during WW II. He began his civilian career with Mobil Oil Co. however he spent most of his life as a Real Estate Developer. During the years from 1960 - 1990 he built hundreds of apartments and condominiums in Dallas. He is a former President of the Dallas Apartment Association and a Deacon at First Baptist Church for many years. Bill was ordained as a deacon on Dec. 12, 1968. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Betty J. (Betsy) Hunt, Son David W. Hunt, daughter-in-law Trena L. Hunt, Son Douglas W. Hunt, daughter-in-law Donna R. Hunt, Grandchildren Christopher Hunt, Jennifer Lynn Hunt, Pam Hunt, Jason Hunt and Jennifer Laura Hunt. Visitation will be Thursday Sept 27th from 6-8pm at Sparkman Hillcrest. 7405 W. Northwest Highway. Memorial service will be at First Baptist Church 1707 San Jacinto Dallas Tx at 1pm on Friday Sept 28th. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Criswell College.
