Born in Manzanillo Cuba in 1948 and left the land that she loved in 1965 alongside with her parents and husband to reside in Dallas Texas until she went home to our Lord in Heaven on Friday May 18, 2012 at 9:20 p.m. in a peaceful passing alongside her two sons “The Power of her strength” Hector Jose Castro II and Juan Manuel Castro who she was very proud of for their success in life and accomplishments and loved them unconditionally as well as family and close friends.
Her Legacy will remain in the hearts of many for her determination, struggles and accomplishments, she was admired and loved by everyone she came in contact with and touched many hearts through her will power to Push forward even through her tragedies and was a Hero to all.
Although proud to be Cuban she was very grateful to be an American and took great pride to have the opportunity to be able to teach children with special needs in the Garland Independent School District.
Xiomara’s life was always surrounded by the people she loved most and that loved her dearly. She will be missed and never forgotten through her beautiful memories and will always live on through the eyes of her two boys, daughter in law Stephanie, three grandchildren Nicholas, Sasha and Isabelle, her sister Ana and brothers Peter and Juan Carlos and companion of many years Cristobal Garcia.
She is proceeded in death by her husband of 25 years Hector Castro I and baby daughter Nancy.
Xiomara was a role model to all and lived by example through her dignity, grace and beauty. Her Christianity was exemplified by fulfilling her purpose in life by continually helping others through good times and in bad.
Mathew 25:21 "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'
Viewing and Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home Dallas, Texas.
Church Mass and service will be held on Thursday May 24, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Parish 3030 Gus Thomason Rd. Dallas, Texas and burial following at Calvary Hill Cemetery.
A Celebration of her Life we be held immediately following for all family and friends
