On June 17, 1951, he married Maria del Rosario Perez in San Salvador, Zacatecas, México. Zenaido was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to all. Zenaido is survived by his nine children: Saul (wife: Silvia), Efrain (wife: Angelita), Maria, Rebeca, Raquel, Magdalena (husband: Margarito), Benjamin (wife: Barbara), Esther (husband: Rodolfo), and Anna. Zenaido is survived by his twenty-two grandchildren: Saraí, Saul, Sabrina, Angelica, Elias, Polo, Susana, Catalina, Vanessa, Joshua, Melissa, Celia, Jeremias, Jacob, Clarissa, Andrea, Miranda, Rudy, Liliana, Nicolas, Alexandra, and Isabella. Zenaido is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous other extended family members and friends who became extended family members. To most people who knew him, he was “Papá” or “Hermano.” We have so many wonderful memories of our Papá. He had a huge heart, loved everyone he met, and guided and counseled us all of our lives. Both the man and his lessons will not be forgotten. Our hearts ache, but our tears are of love and gratitude. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Gonzalez Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service to begin at 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016, at Cedar Hill Church of Christ (S. Clark Rd.) at 10:00 a.m. Zenaido will be laid to rest at Little Bethel Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mission Printing (www.missionprinting.us) or the building fund for Downtown Church of Christ in Cedar Hill, Texas.
