Albina Rose (Morits) Arconti, affectionately known to all as Bea, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2023, at her home of 66 years, surrounded by loving family. Born October 30, 1932, to Joseph and Albina (Lamoreux) Morits, Bea was a lifelong Danbury resident.
She is survived by her loving children: Thomas (Sally), David (Doreen) and Lisa, her daughter-in-law Lorinda Arconti and her seven beautiful grandchildren: Matthew, Daniel, Jennifer, David Jr., Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Jessica. She also leaves behind several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Bea is predeceased by her eldest son Gary, her husband Vito, all six of her siblings, and by her golden years’ life-partner Louis Pane.
Bea took great pride in the home they had built on Karen Road and could often be found tending to the lawn and landscape. She enjoyed bonding with neighbors over coffee and watching her children and their neighborhood friends play various games on the “home field” backyard. Most of all, she will be remembered for gathering her entire family together for Sunday dinners throughout the years, regardless of how large the family grew over the decades.
While most of her time was devoted to raising her children, Bea, at different periods in her life, worked at the Stadley Rough School Rescue program and at Tenax Corp. It was at the latter company that she met Lou and formed a close bond that brought both many years of joy and companionship.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Angie, Ana, and Hilda for the phenomenal and loving care they provided Bea over the last 5+ years of her life. We will be forever grateful for their professionalism, compassion and dedication.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Saint Gregory the Great Church, Great Plain Road, Danbury, CT
Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury, CT
Friends will be received from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
