Angelina J. Tomaino

Angelina was born March 8, 1931 in Calabria, Italy, the daughter of the late Guiseppe M. and Clementina (Esposito) Tomaino. She had been a resident of Danbury for the past 57 years, and was a parishioner of Saint Joseph Church, Danbury. She enjoyed knitting and needlepoint, along with reading in her spare time.

Angelina is survived by her brother, Frank S. Tomaino of Danbury, two sisters, Lidia DiCello and Annina Tomaino, both of Danbury, her niece Giovanna Kaluta and her husband Michael of Bethel, her nephews, Salvatore DiCello and his wife Heather of Danbury, Joseph DiCello and his wife Mary Ann of Carmel, NY, and Angelo DiCello and his wife Julianne of Southbury, four great nieces, and one great nephew. Angelina was predeceased by her sisters, Rosina Tomaino Scalzo and Maria Tomaino.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Saturday July 6th in Saint Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

The family will receive friends in the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury on Saturday morning from 8:30am until 10:00am.
