Anna M. ( Heinemeyer) Taylor, 89, loving wife of the late Arthur E. Taylor and formerly of New Fairfield, died November 28, 2018 at Newtown Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Anna was born on May 1, 1929 to the late Helen (Singer) Heinemeyer and the late Carl Henry Heinemeyer. She was the youngest sister of the late Doris Heinemeyer, the late Helen Heinemeyer Carey and the late Margaret (Peggy) Heinemeyer Taylor. As a young child, after both her parents passed, Anna lived with Mr. & Mrs. Congalton of Danbury and grew up with the Congalton's daughters, Elizabeth (Betty) Keane and Agnes (Nan) Moran.
Anna graduated from Danbury High School, class of 1948 and worked as secretary to the president of the former Ball & Roller Bearing Co. from 1948 to 1975. From 1975 until her retirement in 1992 she was cashier in the admissions department at Western CT State University. At the time of her retirement, she was reemployed in the same position at the university on a part-time basis for quite some time.
Anna's hobbies through the years were antiquing with her husband, gardening, knitting and numerous years of volunteering at Danbury Hospital gift shop.
Anna is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Taylor) Morrissey (Robert) and Beverly (Taylor) Nunes (Antonio), her granddaughter, Stacey Nunes-Ranchy (Bruno), her grandson, Anthony Nunes (Heather) and her great-grandchildren, Alexandra Ranchy, Amelie Ranchy, Olivia Nunes, and lsabel Nunes as well as several sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
