Christine A. Smith

Christine A. Smith of Danbury, formerly of Bedford Village NY passed away at her home on May 13, 2013 surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 60 years old. Christine was born December 21, 1952 in the Bronx, NY the daughter of Guido and Ann Sangeniti De Natale.

She was a Job Coach at Danbury High working with special education students to gain employment, she was the past president of the Danbury Youth Wrestling Association; she enjoyed catering, photography, but mostly enjoyed spending time with family. She was a kind and caring woman that will greatly missed. She is survived by her children Lindsey and Dean Smith of Danbury, and two step sons Garrett and Ryan Smith, her husband Vic Smith, mother Ann DeNatale of Danbury, father Guido DeNatale and his wife Catherine of Roscoe NY, two sisters Lisa and her husband Paul Rowella, Susan DeNatale, and one brother Damian DeNatale and his wife Jeannie all of Danbury, also survived by one niece Amanda Rowella, and three nephews P.J. Rowella, Christopher and Jonathan De Natale and his wife Toni.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home 57 Main St. Danbury on Friday from 5 00 – 8 00 pm, where services will be held Saturday 11 00 am. Cremation Services will be in private.
