Denis James Cahill

Denis James Cahill, 50, of Bethel, CT, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, Jan. 7th. Denis was born in Danbury on March 17, 1961, a son of Audrey Cahill and the late William Cahill. Denis attended St. Mary’s School in Bethel and was a 1979 graduate of Bethel High School. An area building contractor for many years, Denis was an avid motorcyclist and Boston Bruins fan. Denis was loved by many with great reason.

Besides his mother, survivors include his son, William Cahill, and his wife, Zoe. His daughter, Kristal Cahill. His significant other, Colette De Palma, who is also the mother of Denis’ youngest son, Tristan Cahill. Denis is also survived by his two grandchildren Candence and Liam Cahill. His brothers: Michael, Mark and David. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10am at St. Mary’s Church, Bethel. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5pm to 8pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
