Dorothy Marie Kennedy Liston

Dottie was born in Yonkers, NY April 15, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Christina (Foytlin) Kennedy. She attended Yonkers public schools. Prior to her retirement in 1994, she was employed by Aetna Life and Casualty, in Purchase, NY. After moving to Connecticut in 1991, she served in various positions on the resident board at Jensen’s Lakeview Community in Danbury.

Dottie is survived by her son Wally Liston, daughter-in-law Louise, grandchildren Kathleen and Stephen, of Danbury, sisters Winnie Brett of Virginia Beach, VA., Dolores Rostren of Yonkers, NY, and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son Ricky Liston, and siblings Mary, Barbara, John, Rose, Helen, Louis and Christine.

Following Dottie’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, November 24th, at 11:00 at St. James Episcopal Church, 25 West Street, Danbury, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to the Regional Hospice and Home Care of Western Connecticut, 405 Main Street, Danbury, CT 06811.
