Elizabeth M. Garnecho

Born in Danbury to Artur L. and Teresa Martins Garnecho of Danbury, Liz was a 1994 graduate of Danbury High School.

A longtime employee of Danbury Hospital, Liz was most recently in insurance claims in the Billing Department at the hospital.

Besides her children and parents, survivors include her brother, Paul A. Garnecho, of New Fairfield. Many aunts and uncles survive including: Guihermina Santo of Danbury; Beatriz and Rogerio Ferreira of Palm Coast, FL; Jorge and Rosa Martins of New Fairfield; and Maria Manuela and Manuel Ribeiro of Danbury. Many cousins, nieces and nephews in Portugal and France also survive.

A Prayer Service will be conducted at 8pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury with the Rev. Jose Brito-Martins, Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury, officiating. Burial will be private.

Friends will be received from 5pm-8pm on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the Green Funeral Home, Danbury.
