Elizabeth Ann Pudelka

Elizabeth Ann Pudelka, born in Castleton, Vermont on April 13, 1937, passed away on June 20, 2025 after a long battle with COPD. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in New Fairfield surrounded by family.

She was wife to Robert Pudelka, mother to David N. Tucker (deceased), Jeanette L. Tucker, Brian S. Tucker, Leslie A. Tucker, Robert T. Pudelka and Stephen D. Pudelka, grandmother to 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren,

Known for her zeal for life and unabashed belief for what is right and what is wrong, Elizabeth (known by most as Betty, loved by her children as Mom or “The Hammer” and adored by her grandchildren/great grandchildren as Mommo or Grandma), will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Betty’s family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at 6:00 PM on Friday July 18, 2025 at Durfee's Funeral Home, 119 North Main St., Fair Haven, VT 05743. A burial service will be held at Castleton Hillside Cemetery on Saturday morning, July 19, 2025 (time TBD).
