Elsa M. Kolba

Elsa was born in Murrhardt, Germany, to Berta and Wilhelm Munz on September 25th, 1933. She married Josef Kolba on September 19th, 1950, in Murrhardt. She was a devoted wife and mother. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 1960. She and her husband were involved in the Danbury Arion Singing Society for many years.

Elsa is preceded in death by her husband, Josef Kolba, and her three brothers and one sister.

Elsa is survived by her son Manfred and his wife Barbara Kolba, her daughter Renate and her husband Alan DePeau, her grandchildren Nicole and her husband Dan Trombetto, David and his wife Alex DePeau, Danielle and her husband Michael DePeau-Wilson, and Deanna DePeau. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Vincent and Gianna Trombetto and Emmett Josef DePeau-Wilson—with another great-granddaughter joining the family soon. She has a sister-in-law, Lore Kolba, and many nieces and nephews in Germany.

Cremation services will be private. A memorial tribute for Elsa will be held Saturday August 14th, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Green Funeral Home 57 Main St, Danbury, CT.

Face Masks will be required for all funeral home services.
