Elvi T. Burr

Elvi, affectionately known as "Dolly" by family and friends, was born to Swedish immigrants Karl Constantine and Olga Johnson Quist on July 19, 1924. She was the 9th of 12 children. She was raised in Washington, CT and graduated from Washington High School.

After marrying Perry, she raised her family in Brookfield, CT. Her greatest joys of life were her family, faith, reading, and music. She was an avid knitter throughout her life. She spent many hours studying The Bible and meeting with St. Paul's Bible Study group.

Elvi is survived by five sons: Jonathan, Philip, Mathew, Timothy and Patrick. She is pre-deceased by her beloved daughter, Viveca Lilon Burr. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister, Dorine "Honey" Boesel, brother, Eric Quist and many nieces and nephews.

Services will take place on Monday, December 13th at 12pm. St. Paul's Episcopal Church 174 Whisconier Rd. Brookfield, CT 06804.
