Fran was born in Danbury, CT, a daughter of the late Manual and Anna Leo Gustems. She attended Danbury Schools and was a 1952 graduate of Danbury High School. A longtime employee with Risdon Corporation, she retired in 1996. An avid camper, she enjoyed spending her summers in the Catskills and at Lake George.
Survivors include her son: Richard Blankenship of Whitehall, PA. Her daughter: Deborah D’Amico and her husband, Ralph, of New Fairfield, CT. Her grandchildren: Cassandra, Marina, Jake and Andrew.
A Graveside Service will be conducted Thursday at 10am at St. Peter Cemetery, Section 15, Danbury, CT.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 from 5pm to 7pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
