Frances Elizabeth Saunders

Frances was born in Danbury February 4, 1935 the daughter of the late Edward E. and Ruth (Von Rohr) White.

A lifelong resident, she was employed by a number of Danbury area companies over the course of her working life. She was a long time parishioner of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury and enjoyed traveling with her husband Irving and family to Maine and Pennsylvania.

In addition to her husband, Frances is survived by her son, Michael H. Saunders and daughter Patricia A. Saunders, both of Danbury, her three grandchildren: Nicole Gagne, Dylan Saunders, and Tiffani Saunders, one brother: Edward White of Florida, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances was predeceased by her sister Ruthann and niece Shannon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Thursday December 6th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. The family will receive friends on Wednesday December 5th from 5 to 7pm at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street, Danbury.
