Fran celebrated 47 years of marriage to his wife, Florence K. (Kunic) Pudelko on September 16th. He was a loving father to two sons Michael and Robert, their wives Virginia and Christine and four wonderful grandchildren; Jasmine, Catherine, RJ & Mackenzie. He is also survived by brothers John and his wife Pat, Edward and his wife Linda; by sisters Eleanor (Sissy) and her husband Brent, Dorothy and her husband Norman; sister-in-law Ethel (Tunnie) married to the late Joseph, sister-in-law Jeannie married to the late Paul Serwacki. Fran was also Godfather to Diana Serwacki Gordon. The close-knit and large loving family includes several nieces and nephews along with their spouses and children.
He was born in Danbury on April 28, 1942, son of the late Andrew and Eleanor (Bahr) Pudelko. Fran lived in Danbury all his life and graduated from the Danbury school system. His family owned the East End Service Station/Garage for many years as well as the Pudelko’s Cabins on Squantz Pond in New Fairfield. He was a past chief and 54 year member of Beaver Brook Volunteer Fire Department along with his brothers. A tradition his son Robert is proudly carrying on. Fran worked at Amphenol running packing machines, the Danbury Drive-in as a projectionist and at the Danbury Fair in maintenance. He and his wife also delivered the Danbury News Times for over 20 years and were members of AARP Chapter 1847. They also enjoyed cheering on Huskies Girls Basketball together.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014 at 10:30am at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the funeral home.
