
Frank P. Rovello passed away following a sudden illness on Friday, September 11th at Yale New Haven Hospital. Frank was born in Port Chester, New York on May 28th 1946. He was 69 years old. He graduated from Port Chester High School in 1964. 51 years ago he met Mary Kristoph of Greenwich, CT and married her on May 15th 1971 at Sacred Heart Church in Greenwich. He was a Danbury resident for 41 years and worked for the past 16 years at Yale New Haven Hospital as a Database Architect.
A family man, Frank said the greatest moments of his life were the births of his four children, Peter, Frank, James, and Catherine. In his spare time, Frank enjoyed flying remote control airplanes on Sundays in New Milford. He was also an avid Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons fan and delighted in attending numerous showings of Jersey Boys with friends and family.
Besides his wife and children, Frank is survived by his sisters, Adele Barchella and Clara Tomasulo, his many nieces and nephews, and his grandchildren.
Calling hours are from 4 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 15th, at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main Street Danbury, CT. On Wednesday, September 16th, at 10:30 am, a Catholic mass for his burial will be held at St. Gregory the Great Parish, 85 Great Plain Rd Danbury, CT. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery, Lake Avenue Ext. Danbury, CT.
