

Grace was born in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late John and Mary Quigg Gray. She was a 1959 graduate of Midwood High School in Brooklyn. A longtime employee with Merrill-Lynch on Wall Street in New York, she retired in 1985.
Grace enjoyed crafts and music, especially Engelbert Humperdinck. She was known for her wit and enjoyed her beloved nieces and nephews. She was an avid historian, enjoying genealogy and scrapbooking.
Grace is survived by her siblings: Neil Gray of Yonkers, NY, Michael Gray and his wife, Nora, of Monroe, NY, Margaret Gray of Brookfield, CT, Patricia Lane of Moorestown, NJ, Virginia McCafferty of Danbury, Ann Santi and Ronni Gray, both of Brookfield, CT. 21 nieces and nephews, as well as 35 great-nieces and great-nephews, also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013 at 9:00am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Samuel V. Scott, Pastor, officiating. Entombment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY, at the convenience of the family.
