Grace B. Moody

Grace was born in Richmond Hill, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Benziger. She was a graduate of Danbury High School and had worked as a Dorm Mother for WesConn University prior to retirement.

She was predeceased by her son William Moody, sister Dot Hund and brother’s Joseph and William Benziger

She is survived by six children: Robert Moody and partner Martha of Bethel, Richard Moody and wife Betty of Bethel, Jack Moody of Bethel, Kathleen Moody of Danbury, Donald Moody and wife Linda of Plattsburg, NY and Jeanne Jennings and husband David of Fruitland, ID, her sister: Gertrude Brennan of FL and her sisters-in-law Dorothy and Josephine Benziger of NJ, as well as 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren 5 great great grandchildren, 1great great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
