Helen was born in Danbury, CT on November 13, 1935, to Sistina and Maydo Albanetti. She was a very special mother who always cared more about her family than herself. She attended St. Peter's elementary school and Danbury High School graduating in 1953. She was last employed by the City of Danbury in various positions until her retirement in 2000.
Helen was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Rudy.
She is survived by her four children: Diane Jones (Bob), Donna Festa (Ralph), David Gustavson, and George Gustavson (Mary). She is also survived by her beloved sister, Alice Keenan. She will also be sorely missed by her six grandchildren: Stacy and Jeffrey Jones, Ralph and Matthew Festa, and Michelle and Brian Gustavson; as well as her five great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury, CT with the Rev. Matthew Loman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:30am-11:00am on February 19, 2026, prior to the mass at the church.
