Helen M. Lauro

Helen M. Lauro, devoted mother, adoring grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on March 16, 2013. She was a long time resident of Brookfield and Danbury and most recently residing at Bethel Health Care. Predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Dennis R. Lauro, Sr. She will be missed by many, but especially by her children Elaine Lauro and companion, Bern Cascio, and Dennis Lauro, Jr., and long time friend William A. Martin, both of Danbury, her grandchildren Nicole DaSilva and Danielle Stellato and their spouses David and Joseph, her great grandchildren Daniel, Devin and David DaSilva. A sister, Gloria Padovani, and a brother, Emil, and his wife Margaret Bruno, as well as many nieces and nephews survive her.

They will all cherish the many years of joy and happiness they shared with her during her long life of 96 years.

Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, on Monday, March 17th at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery Mausoleum, Danbury.
