

Jacqueline was born in Albany, New York to the late John and Flossie (Cain) Graham on February 18, 1932. She went to school in Albany, NY and graduated from Albany High School. She married the love of her life, Donald J. O’Brien on October 20, 1956, and lived in Albany and Woburn, . MA before moving to Danbury in 1965 where she and her husband raised their six children.
While her children were attending local schools, Jackie was very active in the PTA/PTO organizations and coached cheerleading at Roberts Avenue elementary school. After her children were grown, she returned to the workforce as an office manager for Dr. Julius Sanna, chiropractor and Beth Martin, Homeopathic Medicine before retiring in the early 2000’s.
Jacqueline enjoyed family vacations in Lake George, VT and Cape Cod or anywhere she was spending time with her family. She never missed an opportunity to watch her children, and eventually, her grandchildren in any event they were involved in, be it a ball game, a school concert, spelling bee or graduation. These times were her proudest moments.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, Donald J. O’Brien and her siblings: sisters, Margaret, Jean, Lorriane, and brothers, William, Harold, John, Jr. and Robert, She is survived by her children and their spouses : Nancy Pennarola (Gary), Daniel (Tina), Alicia (George Wares), Kevin (Karen), Lawrence (Pamela), Shawn (Pamela), Her grandchildren, Dylan, Nicole, Bradley, Ryan, Taylor, Connor, Kyle, Logan, Jack, and Kameron, a sister -in-law, Doris Graham of Kinderhook, New York and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 12, 2021 10:00AM at St. Joseph’s Church in Danbury with the Reverend Sam Scott officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery in Danbury).
Arrangements are by Green Funeral Home.the family wishes to thank the staff at Glen Hill in Danbury and Compassus for their loving care of Jacqueline. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimers foundation, the American Cancer Society or the charity of ones choice.
