James Robert Crossen

Jimmy was born January 4, 1960, in the Bronx, NY, the son of Claressa (Joynt) Crossen of Sparkill, NY and the late Robert Crossen. He was raised in New Fairfield, and was a graduate of New Fairfield High School. Jimmy was employed by the Union Carbide Corporation, and enjoyed photography, music, art, and a good cup of coffee. He especially enjoyed special times with his siblings and extended family. Jimmy never met a stranger, always had a smile on his face, and a cheerful word to those he met.

In addition to his mother, Jimmy is survived by his brother, John Crossen of Fon du Lac, WI, two sisters: Maureen Schaedler and her husband Bob of Southbury, and Margaret Crossen of Columbia, SC; his uncle Michael Joynt of Sparkill, NY, as well as several nieces and nephews, and a grand nephew.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Tuesday April 10th at Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield.
