Joao G. Soares

Joao was a loving husband and father. He always sought the best for his family and friends, especially his wife and four kids. Joao worked hard to support his family. He would never let anyone got without. What made him happy was the happiness of others. Joao had a way to make everyone laugh. He was a special man loved by everyone he came in contact with.

Besides his wife of twenty years, Joao leaves behind his four sons: Stephen Soares, Kenneth Soares, Scott Soares and Jonas Almeida. Two daughter-in-laws: Tracey Soares, wife of Stephen Soares, and Gina Soares, wife of Kenneth Soares. Three grand-children: Stephen Soares Jr., Sabrina Soares and Julian Soares. His brother: Fernando Soares, father of Joao's only niece, Patricia Rodrigues also survive.

Joao Soares will always be loved and missed very much.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Danbury, with the Rev. Jose Brito-Martins, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Friends will be received from 5pm – 8pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
