

For 30 years, Karen worked for Addessi Jewelers in Danbury, and then worked as a dental office manager for Dr. Mooney for many years before retiring. She loved her careers and talked about her work and co-workers often. Karen also loved volunteering at Danbury Library where she helped organize and worked at the PAL annual book sale and ran the “book nook” at the library. Her favorite activities were working in her gardens, crafting, cooking and hosting tea parties.
Karen is survived by her husband, Louis M. Sauli, son Shawn Kennedy and his wife Deborah (Tobias), step-son Michael Sauli and his wife Natalie (Heffernon), grandchildren Haley, Peyton, Patrick, Vinny, Elle and Brody. She had many friends who loved her dearly.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 376 Main St., Danbury, followed by burial of ashes at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Ave. Ext., Danbury.
