Jack was born in Fort Dix, NJ, son of Margaret (Burns) Hartell, of Bethel and the late Lee R. Hartell.
He attended Danbury High School and had worked for many years as a computer technician.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Sandy Barry and husband Kevin of Danbury and Sharon Siegel and husband Paul of Bethel, as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. Interment will be private. Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
