Manuel J. Pereira

Manuel was the husband of Maria Fatima Pereira. Manuel was born December 6, 1953 in Bragado, Portugal the son of the late Rozinda Diegas Pereira and Olimpio Cruz Pereira. He was a retired machine operator of NYCONN Corporation, where he spent 27 years of his devotion.

Manuel enjoyed seasonally making wine, watching his beloved Benfica soccer games, and enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and family. He regularly enjoyed adventuring away, specifically on cruises. Manuel is survived by his loving wife Maria Fatima Pereira, their two children: daughter Gorete S. Pereira, her two sons Ryan and Kevin Pereira, and son Joey M. Pereira, his brothers: Candido Pereira, and his wife Aurora of Portugal, Jorge Pereira, and his wife Almerinda of Portugal, Jose Pereira, and his wife Lucia, Fernando Pereira, and his wife Maria Lucia, Acaçio Pereira, and his wife Elza of Portugal, Mario Pereira, and his wife Maria, his sisters: Celeste Machado, and her husband Acaçio of France, Rozario Pereira of Portugal, Isabel Silva, and her husband Luis of Portugal. As well as many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. Manuel was predeceased by his mother and father.

A visitation for Manuel will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, CT. A mass of Christian burial will occur Tuesday, June 29, 2021, at 12:00 PM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 149 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury, CT. Interment will immediately follow at St. Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Avenue Ext., Danbury, CT.
