Margie was born on April 10, 1929, and raised in the Bronx. She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Peter Paul Milovich, who died April 7, 2020, during COVID. After they married in 1948, they moved to Astoria, NY, where they raised their daughter, Linda Zgombic and son, Robert (aka Bobby) Milovich. Margie was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother (aka Baba) to four and great-grandmother (aka Baba-Baba) to seven. She was so proud of all her family and they brought her much joy.
Margie was a woman with many talents - first and foremost a loving mom and homemaker. She was known for her sewing, knitting and all sorts of arts and crafts, and baking. Margie and Peter put their talents together and each of their granddaughters have beautiful, all hand made, dollhouses to remember them by.
When they moved to New Hyde Park, NY in 1980, Margie got her driver’s license at the approximate age of 52. Dad was her GPS while she drove their Volkswagen Jetta.
Margie is survived by her loving daughter, Linda (Joe) Zgombic of New Fairfield, CT (formerly of New Hyde Park, NY) and son, Robert (Susan) Milovich of Gloversville, NY (formerly of Stanhope, NJ). She was fortunate to witness their four granddaughters marry: Elizabeth (Mark) Czopp of Akron, NY; Janet (Greg) Conk of Richmond, VT; Marianne (Andy) Pogmore of New Fairfield, CT; Kristin (Scott) Daisley of Williamsburg, VA. Their granddaughters blessed them with seven great grandchildren: Nathan and Ryan Czopp, Sydney and Lila Conk, Lucas Pogmore, and Albert and Thea Daisley.
