It is with great sorrow the family of Marie (Pawlisak) Beard announces her passing. Marie was born in Pennsylvania on January 1st, 1948 and as a small toddler her family moved to Danbury where she grew up going through the Danbury school system and eventually became part of the first graduating class of Immaculate High School. She then went on to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, working at Danbury Hospital for over 45 years. Some of Marie’s interests included making beaded jewelry, cross-stitch and knitting. Marie was also an ardent supporter of veterans and veteran causes. Marie lived a life of love and kindness, always willing to help anyone who needed it. Marie is survived by her son James Beard, and daughter Theresa Clap and her husband Christopher; and her two grandchildren Ryan and Delia Clap. Remembrance services will be held at a later date due to pandemic restrictions. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions in her name be made to mission22.com.
