Marilyn Sasso Conte

Marilyn Sasso Conte, 89, passed away on September 1, 2021, at the Paramount Nursing Home in Somers, NY. Formerly a Danbury, CT resident, she was born and grew up in the Bronx, NY. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Rocco and Mary Scarano and was predeceased by her brother Edward. She was also predeceased by her first husband Joseph Anthony Sasso and her second husband Joseph A. Conte.

Marilyn was an office manager in Yorktown Heights, NY in the health profession for many decades and was a compassionate, upbeat presence to all she served. Marilyn is survived by her son Michael Sasso, her daughter Maureen McCann and husband Bill, grandchildren Jacob Sasso, Caleb Sasso, Nathan Sasso, and Laurenellen McCann. She is also survived by her four great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and devoted friends.

She will be remembered for her caring, generous spirit, her room brightening smile, passion for theater, especially musicals, and even greater passion for shopping. Her love of birds, horticulture, eggplant parmesan, and crossword puzzles will live on in her family.
