

Marilyn B Singley, 84, of Danbury, CT passed away on April 9, 2017 in Florida. She was the wife of the late Ben G. Singley. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio; the daughter of the late Gustave S. and Irene Kish Lukso. She attended John Marshall High School and graduated from Ohio University with a degree in education.
She was a loving wife of the late Ben G. Singley and her life was devoted to her husband and the care and upbringing of her three children. The Singley family were long-time members of the Ridgewood Country Club. She was a caring and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Marilyn was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church and a volunteer at the Dorothy Day Hospitality House. She was passionate about the arts, gardening, travel and history. She loved cooking and entertaining and cherished bringing family and friends together.
She leaves behind her children: Christopher Singley and his wife, Ivy, of Danbury, and his children Mathew, Meghan, and Catherine; Kimberly Morello and her husband, Anthony, of Bridgewater and their children Lindsey and Daniel; and Lisa Singley and her husband, Will White, of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by her sister Arlene Radio and husband, Frank, of Avon Lake, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery, Danbury. Friends will be received from 4pm-7pm on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.
