Mary was born in Meriden, daughter of the late William and Margaret (O’Hare) Murray. She was a graduate of Rye High School, Rye, NY and had had worked as an Executive Secretary for the Suburban Oil Co., Pelham, NY and had also spent time as a substitute typing teacher. She was an expert seamstress and quilter.
She is survived by her daughters: Margaret Judith Sullivan and husband Ronald and Maryellen Quigley and husband George, both of Bridgewater, five grandchildren: Kevin and Maryellen Quigley, Lawrence Sullivan and wife Kathryn, Denis Sullivan and wife Kana and Ronald Sullivan, Jr. and great grandchildren: Molly and Connor Sullivan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield, on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
