Mary C. Marques

Mary was born in Danbury on July 16,1925 and is predeceased by her parents, Diamantino and Angeline Barata, and her loving husband, Bernardino "Buddy" Marques.

Mary was a lifetime member of Saint Peter Church, Danbury and a long time supervisor at Davis & Geck in Danbury.

She is survived by a sister, Rose Foss, and a brother, Jack Barata, and his wife, Nora.

Additionally she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews many who considered her a second mom because of her loving ways and dedication to them and they loved her back strongly.

In addition we would like to mention, Desreen Butler, who was Mary's personal caretaker who lovingly cared for Mary during her final years.

Friends will be received on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury.

A Mass of Chirstian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am on Fridat, Sept. 24, 2021 at Saint Peter Church, Danbury. Internment following at Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.

Masks or other face coverings will be required while indoors.

Donations in Mary's memory can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
