Mary Elizabeth Zardus

Mary attended school in Bethel CT. She married John Joseph Zardus on October 5, 1957, in St. Mary’s Church, Bethel CT. She graduated from Danbury State Teachers College and taught grammar school in CT before signing on with Trans World Airlines as a stewardess. She was an active member of St. Ignatius in Yardley, PA and was involved in all their charity endeavors.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband John Joseph Zardus. Mary is survived by her children Anne Marie Zardus, John Charles Zardus, Margaret Mary Handal, James Joseph Zardus, and Stephen Maurice Zardus. Grandchildren Megan Handal, Rachel Zardus, John Zardus, Molly Zardus, Isabel Handal, and Helen Zardus.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Saturday, November 19, 2022, at St. Mary’s RC Church in Bethel, CT. Burial will follow at St Mary’s Cemetery.
