

Michael Bruce Ambrose (Squeaky) age 57 of Danbury, CT passed away at Danbury Hospital on March 13, 2017 as a result of complications arising from a heart attack. He passed peacefully while surrounded by his family. He was born on October 14, 1959 of the late Thomas and Charlotte (Haig) Ambrose in Danbury, CT, where he lived his entire life. He attended Danbury High School and graduated the class of 1977. In 1984 he married Isabel Simoes, and together they had two children, Jeremy and Cierra. Michael worked as a warehouse manager at Dandy Foods for 37 years.
Michael is survived by his wife Isabel Ambrose, his children Jeremy and Cierra, his brother Robert, his sisters Deborah (Debbie) Rodrigues and Sandra (Sandy) Andresen, and many adoring nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Charlotte and Thomas Ambrose, his brothers Thomas (Tommy), William (Billy), and Kenneth (Kenny), and his sister Maryjane Reynolds.
Michael was a loving husband and brother and a devoted father. He never missed a single of his son’s baseball games, or his daughter’s cheerleading competitions. He was always the loudest fan cheering in the stands. He could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Michael was always very warm and open hearted. He has touched many lives and will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to know him.
Calling hours will be held at Green Funeral Home in Danbury on Sunday March 19, 2017 between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 pm. Funeral services for Michael will take place at St. Joseph Church in Danbury on Monday, March 20, 2017 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury, CT.
